Rebecca Beattie, 25, whose nose was crushed by Bloody outrage.

A BATTERED mum last night told of her outrage after the NHS refused to rebuild her shattered nose — as wannabe model Josie Cunningham flaunted her taxpayer-funded boobs.

Rebecca Beattie, 25, whose nose was crushed by her brutal ex, was told her £5,500 op was “not essential” and she must pay for it herself.
But Josie, 22, got a £4,800 breast enhancement at public expense after tearfully telling her GP how having small boobs damaged her confidence.

As Josie used NHS tape to barely cover her new 36DD assets at a gay night at the Scrumptious club in London’s Soho, Rebecca fumed: “It’s a disgrace.
“I can’t believe the NHS chose to fund Josie’s boob job in the first place, but for her to then gloat about it when people are being refused surgery is shocking.
“I’m struggling to get funding and yet here she is bragging. It’s hard to take.”
Mum-of-one Rebecca, of York, suffered splayed nasal bones, a deviated septum and facial fractures at the hands of Bradley Want, 24. The thug — who Rebecca says beat her for FIVE YEARS — was jailed for 16 months last September.

Charity worker Rebecca, who can only breathe through one nostril, has been told she needs corrective and cosmetic plastic surgery.
The NHS Exceptions Panel, which assesses funding applications, has refused Rebecca FOUR times. Meanwhile, Josie, from Leeds, has raked in cash from appearances and photo-shoots since The Sun exclusively told her story in March.
Rebecca said: “They say I’m not an exception — that I don’t meet the criteria. But apparently breasts do if you want to make money from glamour modelling. It’s awful. It’s really difficult for me to breathe and a nightmare if I get a cold because I struggle to blow my nose. My surgeon is shocked and can’t believe I’ve not got funding. Nobody can. It’s not fair.”

Rebecca’s MP, Hugh Bayley, called the refusal “distressing”.
Matthew Sinclair, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance added: “The NHS appears to have got it badly wrong in both these cases.
“An elective boob job at taxpayers’ expense was madness, and denying an abuse victim surgery at the same time is appalling.
“The NHS bureaucrats making these decisions are divorced from reality.” An NHS spokeswoman said: “We’re working to understand the details of this case.”
