MAN UTD WAITAKA REAL MADRID WABADILISHANE NA RAMOS
It's already
the transfer saga of the summer and the stand-off between Real Madrid
and Manchester United over David de Gea and Sergio Ramos makes the front
page of Saturday's AS newspaper in Spain.
'It's
all or nothing with United' runs their headline as the Old Trafford
club dig in their heels and say that their star goalkeeper won't be sold
to Real unless Ramos is sent in the opposite direction.
This story has been dominating the football papers for most of the week and it now seems to be a case of who'll blink first.
Spanish paper AS lead on the stand-off
between Real Madrid and Man United over the transfers of David de Gea
and Sergio Ramos. The Old Trafford club have said it's 'all or nothing'
in the deal
Real
are keen to establish De Gea as their long-term replacement to Iker
Casillas, while United's inconsistent form last season highlighted the
urgent need for reinforcements in defence.
Marca have an interview with Real's Brazilian midfielder Lucas Silva, who reflects on his first six months at the Bernabeu.
Despite
having played just nine times for the club, there is already
speculation that his career there could be over before it has really
begun, with a loan move likely next season.
The
headline says: 'If there are teams that want me, it must be for a
reason,' with Silva insisting that he was 'satisfied' with the minutes
he got in his maiden campaign and with his form.

Another
ongoing transfer story is that of Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid to
Barcelona, and that features - partly at least - on the front cover of Mundo Deportivo.
They
report that the two clubs have reached an agreement to postpone until
Monday the decision on whether to sign the Turkey international, who has
also been linked with a move to Chelsea.
The
Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, confirmed that the request
to sign Turan was made by coach Luis Enrique as he aims to further
strengthen his European champions.
Lionel Messi also figures on the front cover of Mundo in anticipation of Saturday night's Copa America final, which sees Argentina take on Chile in Santiago.
Messi
hasn't won anything with the senior Argentina team and his last
silverware was the Olympic gold medal for the under 23 team in Beijing
in 2008.
Mundo Deportivo report that the details of Arda Turan's switch to Barcelona will be decided next week
Catalan sports daily Sport report that Luis Enrique sanctioned Barcelona's move for Arda Turan
Sport also
report the news that the request for Barcelona to sign Turan came
directly from the coach, though we now wait until next week to see if he
will arrive from the capital.
In Italy, Tuttosport tell
the Juventus fans what they want to hear with news that Paul Pogba has
offered assurances to the club's directors that he wants to stay and win
more trophies.
The
France midfielder has been linked with Barcelona, among other clubs,
but the paper quote Pogba as saying he has a 'pact' with Juve.
He
adds: 'Everyone talks, but they don't know what I told the directors,
[his agent, Mino] Raiola and my family. I just won two trophies with the
Bianconeri jersey and I want more...'
Juve could do with hanging on to their star asset, with the two Milan clubs vowing to catch them next season.

Milan
chief Silvio Berlusconi is quoted as saying that he would expect the
Scudetto in return for attracting Zlatan Ibrahimovic back from Paris
Saint-Germain.
Inter
coach Roberto Mancini, meanwhile, insists that his squad 'aren't so far
away' from Juventus despite the Milan club finishing a distant 33
points and eight places behind the champions last season.
Gazzetta dello Sport
also lead on the new found Milanese optimism, with Berlusconi saying
that a return to the Champions League is 'obligatory' in the campaign
ahead - Milan finished 10th last term, some 17 points off third.

They add that Milan are moving closer to a three-year deal for the brilliant Swede Ibrahimovic worth 6m euros (£4.2m) in wages.
The situation surrounding Mohamed Salah, the Chelsea winger, dominates the front page of Corriere dello Sport.
Fiorentina
say they could take legal action after claiming Salah has refused to
return to the Serie A club for a second loan spell. Salah is believed to
be keen on a move to another club.
