Van Gaal: I need new players

Louis van Gaal admitted Manchester United need to make more signings after watching his team lose their opening game of the season to Swansea.

United were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford as their Premier League campaign got off to a woeful start.
And afterwards Van Gaal said he will look to bring in new players before the transfer window shuts on September 1.

Asked if he needed new faces, the Dutchman replied: "Yes, but I have thought that before this match, so it is no different. When we were playing in the US, I thought the same.
"I know in what positions we need better players.

But you have to buy only when the player can fulfil the way of playing that I ask. We have to wait and see. But we could have won today."
However, Van Gaal refused to reveal how many new players he wants.
He added: "I don’t discuss that with you. I am sorry.
