Van Persie says Manchester United will be fighting for trophies under Moyes.
Manchester United striker Robin van Persie insists the club will still be hunting for trophies under new boss David Moyes.
After
26 years at Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson has called time on his
career at United and will be succeeded by Moyes this summer.
After
helping the club to its 20th league title, Van Persie believes the
managerial transition will not have an impact in its pursuit of
silverware next term.
Van
Persie also paid tribute to Paul Scholes, who retired at the end of the
season, and the 29-year-old striker maintains the midfielder, along
with Ryan Giggs, have become role models at the club.
