Justin Bieber goes berserk: Pop sensation lashes out at cameraman
The precocious
19-year-old had only just been released from hospital after suffering
“breathing problems” when he lunged at a cameraman from his people
carrier on London’s Park Lane.
His bizarre
behaviour comes just days after he left thousands of young fans
heartbroken and their parents angry after turning up almost two hours
late for a concert in the capital, blaming “technical difficulties”. He
claimed he was only 40 minutes late.
'What did you say?' he shouted, with a string of expletives as he was pulled back by the bodyguards
Bieber, dressed
in red sweatshirt and matching hat, had been hustled into the people
carrier from his hotel by minders but burst out of the van swearing and
making threatening comments as he threw a punch.
“What did you say? What did you say?” he shouted, with a string of expletives as he was pulled back by the bodyguards.
The
footage of him shoving a photographer out of the way as he gets into
the van then jumping out again to launch into his swearing rant was
captured exclusively by Channel 5 News and shown online and on their
early evening bulletin last night.
Bieber took
to Twitter shortly afterwards to explain his side of the story, saying:
“Ahhhhh! Rough morning. Trying to feel better for this show tonight but
let the paps get the best of me... Sometimes when people r shoving
cameras in your face all day... well I’m human. Rough week. Gonna get
focused on this show tonight. Adrenaline is high now. Gonna put it on
the stage.”
The
incident puts another blight on the normally spotless, squeaky clean
image of the Canadian pop star and adds to a mounting backlash against
him sparked by keeping fans waiting on Monday night.
Earlier
Bieber posted a topless picture of himself from his bed in hospital
where he was treated for breathing problems, said to be related to
stress.
The pop sensation was rushed off stage
at the O2 during his concert on Thursday night and disappeared from
stage for about 15 minutes as management tried to work out if he was fit
enough to continue.
Following the concert
Bieber was taken to hospital to be checked. Shortly after 1am he wrote
on Twitter: “Getting better. Thanks for everyone pulling me thru
tonight. Best fans in the world. Thanks for the love.”
