Rui Faria confirmed as assistant manager Manchester United
New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho's backroom staff have been confirmed.
Trusted lieutenant Rui Faria has become the Red Devils' assistant manager.
Mourinho
first met Faria at Barcelona before he worked as Mourinho's fitness
coach during his time in charge of Uniao de Leiria in Portugal and
followed him to Chelsea (twice), Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Coaches
Silvino Louro, who has been with Mourinho for more than a decade having
started out as his goalkeeping coach, has also been named as one of
four coaches joining the Portuguese at Old Trafford.
Ricardo
Formosinho and Carlos Lalin - who also have previous experience working
with the Portuguese - and Emilio Alvarez have all been confirmed as
members of the coaching staff along with analyst Giovanni Cerra.
United's
confirmation that Mourinho has called upon his trusted advisers comes
after the former Chelsea manager told the media at his first press
conference that Ryan Giggs' departure 'was not his responsibility'.
During
his introductory press conference at Old Trafford on Tuesday, Mourinho
insisted the fact Giggs coveted the manager's job meant it was always
going to be hard for the former winger to stay at the club.
